Veterans Services
Our Veterans Claims Representatives (VCR) are here to assist you and your family in securing the benefits earned through your selfless service as a veteran of the US Armed Forces. We provide assistance with:
- Compensation for service-related disabilities
- Pension for wartime veterans with non-service-connected disabilities
- Aid and Attendance or Housebound benefits
- Enrollment in VA Health Care for treatment
- Survivors Benefits
- California Tuition Fee Waiver Program (CalVet)
A VCR's primary duty is to advocate for the veteran. All of our VCRs hold both National and California Department of Veterans Affairs (CDVA) accreditations. They are highly proficient in explaining benefits programs and eligibility criteria, conducting interviews, identifying issues, gathering evidence, and uploading data to the VA to support the veteran's claim(s).
NOTE: The Sacramento County Veterans Services Office is not the VA. The VA Regional Benefits Office is located at 1301 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94612.
