Community Work Experience—CWEX

Department of Human Assistance
Pre- Employment Preparation Program
 

CWEX is non-salaried work experience for CalWORKs recipients. The purpose is to provide CWEX participants the opportunities to obtain work skills or to enhance existing or recently acquired skills and meet CalWORKs participation requirements while providing a community service. Participants are placed within a public, private or non-profit agency.
